Submit a PhD project proposal

Seeking research project proposals from sets of UQ/Exeter academic staff who can demonstrate a capacity to work collaboratively. Proposals will fit the interdisciplinary themes of the QUEX partnership: healthy ageing; physical activity and nutrition; and environmental sustainability.

Apply for Initiator Grant funding

The QUEX Initiator Grants Scheme is designed to broaden academic and research collaboration between UQ and the University of Exeter. The 2019 round is now open. Up to nine grants of A$16,000 (£10,000) will be available to UQ and Exeter collaborators.

QUEX PhD studentship program

The PhD studentship is a flagship initiative of the QUEX Institute. It aims to recruit the very best students, to work across the University of Exeter and The University of Queensland, towards joint degrees. The scheme pays full fees and a stipend, as well as a generous training and travel fund.
