Partnering for change

UQ Global Engagement seeks to extend the reputation and connectedness of The University of Queensland and support the University's vision of knowledge leadership for a better world.

A Churchill Fellowship offers ordinary Australians the opportunity to travel to the far edges of the globe to conduct valuable research in their field. The application process for the 2020 Churchill Fellowships remains unchanged and will close 30 April.
UQ staff are encouraged to submit applications for the 2021 round of the New Colombo Plan Mobility Program. DFAT will be accepting applications for the next round despite the current situation, in anticipation of current travel bans being lifted and student mobility eventually returning to normal.

Our work

Research and educational organisations, sponsors, government, industry and international visitors can engage with us to create change.
UQ aims to be Australia’s most globally connected university and achieve a lasting influence on the communities with which we engage.
We assist international sponsored students to access services across the university and encourage and enable global experiences for UQ students.
A range of online tools, resources and reports are available to support staff with identifying global opportunities and collaborations.
