Global Engagement seeks to extend the reputation and connectedness of The University of Queensland and support the University's vision of knowledge leadership for a better world.


UQ is hosting the Research for Development Impact (RDI) Conference online, 1-2 July 2021. Addressing the theme: Pathways through disruption – the future of sustainable development and recovery in the Pacific and Southeast Asia.
UQ is hosting the 11th biennial Indonesia Council Open Conference (ICOC), 14-16 July 2021. The conference theme is “Sustaining Bilateral Research Partnerships: Online Indonesia Council Open Conference”. The focus of ICOC 2021 will be building research collaborations.

We assist international sponsored students to access services across the university and encourage and enable global experiences for UQ students.
Research and educational organisations, sponsors, government, industry and international visitors can engage with us to create change.
A range of online tools, resources and reports are available to support staff with identifying global opportunities and collaborations.
