  • Technological, scientific and education innovation

Global Engagement and Entrepreneurship provides Global Strategy Framework and Global Engagement Briefs. The Global Strategy and Partnerships team welcome inquiries to identify potential partners in destination countries.

The estimated grant value is from $5,000 to $40,000 per annum.

Subsidy of general ongoing administration of an organisation such as electricity, phone, rent, salaries (including for research assistants or administrative staff), honorariums or administrative charges levied by the applicant's organisation are not normally funded.

How to Apply

Step 1. Completing the application

The Grant Guidelines are available from the DFAT website. All applications must be submitted by the applicant electronically using the SmartyGrants AKF Application form.

GSP will provide a brief UQ capacity statement and information on UQ’s engagement in the country of your application upon request.

GSP will provide a letter of support after the applicant submit the filled template (provide pdf) and application cover sheet (provide pdf). Please allow five working days for the GSP team to process the letter of support.

Step 2. GSP internal review and feedback
For GSP review on compliance and feedback, email your application to the GSP team by 10 September.
