What is Falling Walls?

Established 20 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall, Falling Walls is a global event dedicated to supporting science and the humanities.

Innovative minds from across the world come together to discuss global challenges and their innovative solutions.

The Falling Walls Lab is a popular part of the conference. Through a three-minute pitch to some of the world’s leading academics and businesspeople, Lab finalists from around the world have a rare audience to which they can share their dream of a better world through science and social change.

How to apply

Compete the Falling Walls Lab online application form. Selected applicants will pitch their innovative idea in just 3 minutes, showcasing a breakthrough that creates a positive impact on science and society.
