The Partner Engagement Framework (PEF) measures UQ’s engagement with 414 international partner universities from 50 countries.
The PEF has been updated with 2017 results measuring performance and engagement across 14 learning, discovery and engagement indicators, results are presented on a sliding scale to demonstrate low, medium and high engagement.
The dashboard is now mobile compatible and is best viewed on Edge, Chrome, Firefox and Safari.
Go to PEF interactive dashboard
You will need your UQ username and password to access the dashboard.
The PEF includes 414 partners from the following areas:
- University partners with whom the University has an active signed agreement (MOU, MOA, Letter of Intent) as per the Global Engagement agreements database
- Universitas 21
- McDonnell International Scholars Academy
- edX
- Partners with significant project collaborations as per UQ’s Research Master database.
Indicators include graphs highlighting the five-year trends and detailed reporting is available via the UQ Reportal, allowing users to rank partners and apply filters to analyse performance. The dashboard also now provides the option of selecting the specific comparison year so that staff are able to see changes to specific activities over defined timeframes. The PEF will be updated annually and depending on the availability of data finalised in the first quarter of the year.
The PEF is a valuable resource when engaging with partners, assessing the impact of engagement and tracking outcomes. The framework allows The University to assess areas of current strength, potential future engagement and where further development is needed to maximise the mutual benefit made possible by these partnerships.
UQ Global Engagement can provide a range of advice, tools and resources to support international engagement and partnership activities. If you have any questions about the PEF Dashboard or other Global Engagement resources, please contact global.engagement@uq.edu.au.

Partner results are converted to a score from 1 to 10, with 10 being the highest. The score is a pro rata of the partner result compared to the high engagement cap for each indicator. The score is presented on a sliding scale to demonstrate low, medium and high engagement. More information on indicator composition, high engagement cap and data source is listed below.
