The Country Engagement Framework (CEF) provides a consolidated view of UQ’s international performance by Country. The CEF includes 181 countries measuring performance and engagement across 17 learning, discovery and engagement indicators. The CEF has been updated with UQ’s 2017 performance and results presented on a sliding scale to demonstrate low, medium and high engagement.
Indicators include graphs highlighting the five-year trends and detailed reporting is available via the UQ Reportal, allowing users to rank countries and apply filters to analyse performance. The dashboard also now provides the option of selecting the specific comparison year so that staff are able to see changes to specific activities over defined timeframes. The CEF will be updated annually and depending on the availability of data finalised in the first quarter of the year.
The CEF is a valuable resource in the development and implementation of country strategies and benchmarking performance of international engagement initiatives. The framework can also support partnership discussions with government, industry, research and educational institutions.
UQ Global Engagement can provide a range of advice, tools and resources to support international engagement and partnership activities. If you have any questions about the CEF Dashboard or other Global Engagement resources, please contact global.engagement@uq.edu.au.
The CEF is continuing to evolve with the following enhancements made in 2018:
- The Grants and Projects indicators are now linked to 'live' reports within Business Objects. This means that users can refresh those reports at anytime throughout the year to get the latest statistics available.
