edX is the world’s leading consortium of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs), jointly founded by Harvard University and Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). We are one of only two Australian universities included in the not-for-profit edX enterprise. UQx works with the University’s academic teaching staff to create and present a range of MOOCs through the edX platform.

Universitas 21

We are one of only three Australian members of Universitas 21 a select international network of comprehensive, research-intensive universities committed to world-best quality and practice. The network’s purpose is to facilitate collaboration and cooperation between the member universities and to create opportunities for them on a scale that would otherwise not be possible, such as student exchanges, research conferences and summer schools.

McDonnell International Scholars Academy

The McDonnell International Scholars Academy, one of our most highly engaged partners, provides graduate and professional students from 29 university partners around the world with an extraordinary experience at Washington University in St. Louis.

Group of Eight

We are a founding member of the Group of Eight (Go8), a leading group of Australian universities. The Go8 has international alliances and agreements with Universities and research organisations in Brazil, China (with the C9 - China’s leading research-intensive universities), Chile, France, and Germany.
