UQ staff workshop: UQ’s future engagement in Canada

UQ Global Engagement is currently developing an engagement strategy for Canada, and the team will hold an interactive workshop on 28 August 2017.

The workshop will provide an overview of UQ’s current engagement in Canada, explore opportunities for funding, recruitment and partner engagement in Canada, and seek input and advice about future opportunities with key partners, government and industry. 

This workshop is recommended for all UQ staff, academics and researchers who have an interest in Canada – including those developing global strategies and international partnerships.

This workshop will enable participants to:

1. Learn more about UQ’s current engagement and activities in Canada
2. Identify existing and potential Canadian partners, and how to leverage relationships
3. Explore priority research areas and funding opportunities in the Canadian market
4. Discuss student recruitment opportunities in Canada
5. Provide feedback and input into the development of UQ’s Canada Engagement Strategy
